Experienced Mosaic Artist and Educator

Sharen was born in Lancashire, UK 1960. In the 80`s she studied Fine Art and a few years later trained in archaeological conservation. Sharen utilises all her experiences and skills in all she creates. Beautiful designs and unbeatable quality to her finished mosaic work.

Sharen's workshop in Paphos, Cyprus, is spacious and provides her with top-quality equipment and materials to create art work, designs and complete commission pieces. She has a workshop from where she teaches and supplies materials and is always a great inspiration to others. Her enthusiasm in all she does comes through in her designs and executed work. These are all the reasons why Sharen's mosaic artwork is collectable.

Art and Study Experience

Sharen was awarded a BA (Hons) Fine Art degree at Exeter College of Art and Design in 1982, during the previous year exhibiting with David Searl a visiting artist.

She also experienced a weeks residential in Wales with sculpture David Nash, creating a great portfolio of work.

In 1983 Sharen trained at Wells Cathedral UK in stone sculpture conservation and went on to qualify in Archaeological Conservation at The Institute of Archaeology, London University. She was employed at The British Museum from 1983-1987.
